What you are actually paying for
Drafting is free on every plan, including the free one, and it always will be. That is not generosity — the writing runs on Apple Intelligence on your own Mac, so it costs nothing per email to run. There is no token bill to pass on to you.
Scraping is the metered part, because a scrape queries live services and the monthly allowance is counted on our server. The paid plans remove that limit and add the things that need a server to exist at all: sync between your Macs, and a backup of every run.
What happens when you cancel
Leads you have already scraped stay yours. They remain readable, sortable, exportable and sendable on any plan, forever, including after a cancellation — they are files in a folder on your Mac, not rows in an account we can switch off.
Cancelling keeps your paid features until the end of the period you already paid for, then drops you to the free plan. You can re-subscribe to the same plan later.
Why an account is needed at all
Scraping requires a free account because the monthly allowance is counted on our server. A counter kept on your Mac would be a file you could delete, which would make the free tier unlimited and the paid tiers pointless. No card is needed to create one.
Before you pay for anything
Run the free scrapes first. If the first county does not hand you a list worth calling, you have lost an afternoon and nothing else — and you will have found that out without entering a card. Check the requirements before downloading; the app needs a recent Apple-silicon Mac.
